The site at Buddhangala is in Ampare village in Samanture Divisional Secretariat Division of Ampare District. It is situated on a rock outcrop and on one rock boulder are the remains of a Dagoba and a structure with brickbats.  On the rock surface the remains of three structures are visible. On the eastern slope of the rock, evidence of a retaining wall made of rubble, two plain guard stones, a balustrade stone and on the west a few rock caves with drip-ledges are found.
